The Riverdale Housing Co-op consists of 13 duplexes, or 26 units, scattered around the community of Riverdale. The duplexes are a mix of two, three, and four bedrooms. Each unit includes a basement, main floor, and upstairs.

Members are a mix of all age groups - single and couple households and families with children. Incredibly, our co-op boasts several founding members who have been with the co-op for almost 25 years - a great indication of how special co-op living is.
When you become a member and resident of the co-op, you will join a committee and will be assigned duties. Riverdale has five committees. The board recommends and facilitates. The external committee represents the co-op regionally provincially, and nationally. The finance committee keeps track of the budget and other duties. The maintenance committee oversees all matters of maintenance, including long and short-term needs. Finally, the membership committee maintains the wait list, runs orientations and oversees members moving in or moving out.
